Garden Harvest & Plant Swap
October 11 @ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Too many cabbages or squash?
If you find yourself with an overly abundant harvest from your garden this year, bring the surplus to the co-op and share it with your neighbors during our produce, seed, garden tool, and plant swap!
If you have houseplants or garden perennials that need to be thinned or divided, bring them too! From root vegetables to cuttings, apples to seeds, books to tools: everything plant and garden-related is welcome at this swap. To help everyone out, please label your plants with a name (common or botanical). This event is open to all. Plan to stop by even if you don’t have something to bring. Everyone interested in plants or locally grown fresh produce is encouraged to attend and take something home, free of charge.
Any garden produce that remains after the swap will be donated to the food shelf. Remaining plants, seeds, or tools will be donated locally, as well. If you have questions about the swap, please reach out to Ingrid Ogren: outreach@bluff.coop.
