For so long “the expansion” existed mostly as an abstract idea with seemingly endless pieces that needed to be put together before anything could happen. But now it feels like everything is happening all at once and it’s hard to keep up with the latest information.
If you’ve been in the store lately you can’t help but notice changes. Some are obvious, like the temporary change to our 2nd street entrance, while others are not, like our new office computers (!), our new (and more efficient!) HVAC system, and our updated (and more cost effective!) electric system.
Luckily, for the most part, the ups and downs of expansion have been balanced. For example, although we lost a register this week, the reason is that the construction crew is creating the floors for our new deli. And although it’s been very noisy, our new equipment arrives every day.
