There’s no denying that it’s an exciting time to be a part of Bluff Country Co-op. Not only are we are undergoing an expansion project, which will nearly double the size of our store and establish us a primary presence in downtown Winona, but our Board of Directors is also working on several community projects.

As a professional working board, one of the roles of the Board is to create a vision for our Co-op based on the voices of the owners. At the same time, the Board provides leadership and fiduciary oversight through policy governance. Board members participate in monthly meetings and serve on one or more Board committees.

The Board of Directors is currently looking for individuals who want to give back and make an impact in our community. Board Elections will take place on October 27, 2016, and new board members will begin in December. The Board of Directors is also looking for individuals who want to get involved but are not ready to join the board by participating on a committee. Our current committees include Member Outreach, Social Equity, Project Expansion, and Board Development.
