As a cooperative, Bluff Country Co-op operates according to seven cooperative principles. Principle 7 is “Concern for Community,” which means that cooperatives “work for the sustainable development of communities.” Keeping with this, we have chosen to use local contractors and subcontractors for our expansion project.

Warneke is personally excited about seeing the exterior transformation, the new entrances, and an expanded seating area. Being a big fan of downtown development, Warneke sees an expanded Co-op at this site as adding to the fabric of downtown.
