From root vegetables to cuttings\, apples to seeds\, books to tools: everything plant and garden-related is welcome at this swap. To help everyone out\, please label your plants with a name (common or botanical). This event is open to all. Plan to stop by even if you don’t have something to bring. Everyone interested in plants or locally grown fresh produce is encouraged to attend and take something home\, free of charge. \n*Early\, non-perishable donations may be dropped off at BCC between October 5-October 10th.  Donations may be left in the designated groccery cart at our services desk.* \nAny garden produce that remains after the swap will be donated to the food shelf.  Remaining plants\, seeds\, or tools will be donated locally\, as well. They strive to keep their honey in its natural raw state and have an unwavering standard for quality. \nPaulin’s Provisions was started by two longtime friends in La Crosse\, WI. Stop by to meet the following local producers in person\, enjoy samples and discover just how delicious and sustainable buying local can be! \nSaturday\, April 5\n10 AM – 2 PM \nSacred Blossom Farm is a small scale herb farm in Wisconsin’s beautiful bluff country. They grow\, harvest and carefully dry all the herbs in their artisanal blends. No synthetic inputs have been used on the farm since 1992. They continue to nurture the soil and encourage wildlife in order to create a permaculture paradise\, while working to produce the best possible herbal tea by hand. \nO’Neill Family Farm rotationally grazes sheep\, goats and cattle in southeast Minnesota’s Driftless Region. Much of their pastures are on steep ground\, which is unsuitable for cultivating crops. They try to be intentional about the conversion of sun\, water and grass into food and put lots of labor into animal welfare.

Each candle is lovingly hand-dipped\, poured\, or shaped using 100% pure beeswax from local beekeepers around Minneapolis\, Rochester\, La Crosse\, and Viroqua. Every candle supports our local beekeepers and honors their dedication to sustainable beekeeping. \nWe now have a selection of Honeypot candles available at the co-op\, like the Infinity Twist and Bee-Day candles\, but Ethan will bring additional candles on Feb. 8\, that we don’t currently stock and customers can purchase. Stop by to visit and see the talented work of this local candle maker in person.
